Han pasado casi 20 años desde que se estrenara 'Pulp Fiction' en octubre de 1994. Por primera vez, una película cuadraba el círculo: cine independiente capaz de llevar al gran público a las salas. Aquella película, con su relato fracturado, sus diálogos explosivos y su celebración desinhibida de la cultura pop, se convirtió en la primera producida lejos de los grandes estudios que sobrepasó la barrera de los 100 millones. Ahora, el responsable de todo aquello, Quentin Tarantino (Knoxville, 1963), ya no es el 'enfant terrible' o simplemente 'nerd' que con apenas 30 años cambió las reglas del cine para siempre.
