#1 He leído bastante sobre Esparta y la batalla de las Termópilas y he de reconocer que tengo este libro en un pedestal. Me enganchó desde el primer capítulo. La narración bajo el punto de vista de varios personajes es uno de sus puntos de originalidad, pues te permite vivir los momentos previos a la batalla (varios años antes) hasta que tiene lugar desde diversas perspectivas. Creo que refleja bien lo que debía ser aquella sociedad fuertemente militarizada y de clases, una sociedad que castigaba a cualquiera, fuera quien fuera, por el incumplimiento de sus leyes. Fue una lectura muy emocionante incluso aunque sepas de antemano cómo va acabar...
