Los responsables de la web "quedelibros.com" han impugnado ante la Audiencia Nacional una resolución de la Comisión de Propiedad Intelectual (CPI) en la que se les acusaba de vulnerar los derechos de autor de la obra "La sombra del viento", de Carlos Ruiz Zafón. El Bufet Almeida Abogados ha sido el encargado de impugnar la denuncia, presentada por el Centro Español de Derechos Reprográficos (CEDRO) contra los responsables de la página "quedelibros.com", después de que esta web se viera obligada a retirar sus contenidos bajo apercibimiento de una abultada multa económica, ha indicado el abogado Carlos Sánchez Almeida. El letrado del bufete que representa a los dueños de esta web ha señalado que ésta es la primera vez que una web apercibida por la Comisión de Propiedad Intelectual impugna ante los tribunales una decisión de este órgano, y ha asegurado que todo el procedimiento seguido por la denuncia inicial demuestra que la Ley Sinde "no sirve para nada" y que finalmente serán los jueces los que se pronuncien al respecto.
