Las Nuevas Tecnologías nos permiten cada día superar nuevas barreras y así, lo que hace un años era algo imposible o irreal de realizar, ahora es alto totalmente normal o posible de realizar. Un buen ejemplo de ello es lo que le pasó hace años a Mel Rosenberg, creador de Ourboox. Hace unos años, en la Feria del Libro Infantil en Bolonia, Mel se acercó para encontrar un editor que le pudiese materializar y difundir su reciente obra. La cosa fue imposible, pero no solo para él sino para muchos autores que no vieron resueltos sus anhelos. En esta búsqueda se encontró con Ran Shternin y decidieron crear una editorial o mejor dicho, una plataforma en la que autores desconocidos pudiesen publicar su obra sin tener que pasar por lo que ellos pasaron. Así es como se creó Ourboox, una plataforma que da libre acceso a los ebooks además de ser gratuita.
